Get connected after prison
Getting out of prison can be surprisingly tough.
Many people coming out of prison say the first few weeks or months in the community can be even harder than doing time inside.
You may even be feeling anxious, depressed or frustrated. Finding a place to live, sorting out Centrelink, looking for work or settling back into the community can be overwhelming. If you are experiencing any of these problems, maybe our program can help you.
StAMP can provide you with a mentor from your local community who can assist you with some of these things.
If you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, support is available through the program.
This service is only available in the Sydney and Marrickville LGAs.
