The Parolee Support Initiative (PSI) provides comprehensive support to parolees with serious mental health issues and/or cognitive impairment throughouttheir period of transition from custody back into the community, with the explicit aim of successful community integration.

PSI provides Housing NSW accommodation in the Liverpool/Fairfield/Parramatta areas and an intensive outreach support program up to 20 hours per week. PSI support begins 3 months prior to release to identify post release needs. These may include mental health and disability services, drug and alcohol support, employment, budgeting, shopping, tenancy maintenance, etc.
