Video Prison Visits

Family video visits now take place in your own home, connecting to any smart device that has a camera, sound and internet connection. This includes computers, laptops or smart phones. With the gradual return of in-person visits, the video visits continue to be available.

What if I don’t have a smart device at home?

CRC can facilitate video visits for people who do not have access to the technology required for family video visits from home.

Eligibility:
Families must apply and receive approval for the video contact with the person in custody before it can take place. Please refer to the CSNSW page on video visits for more information on how to book:
https://correctiveservices.dcj.nsw.gov.au/csnsw-home/contact-and-visit-inmates/contact-an-inmate/video-calls.html

Families must be able to attend CRC’s Canterbury office in person for a video visit.

Access: Phone (02) 9288 8700, 9am–5pm Monday to Friday.
Video visits can only take place between 9.30am-4pm on weekdays.
