This service works with First Nations people on release from prison into the Broken Hill, Menindee and Wilcannia region. CRC transitional workers offer pre-release support and planning, and short, medium and long-term intensive holistic and culturally safe case management.
This project is funded through the National Indigenous Australians Agency. Our case workers begin wherever possible working with clients three months prior to release.
Referral Process
To make a referral, Corrective Services staff can download a referral form for Broken Hill, Menindee and Wilcannia. This form should then be emailed to broken.hill.referrals@crcnsw.org.au.
