CRC offers specialist training for Government and non-Government agencies wanting to build capacity to effectively support people impacted by the criminal legal and prison systems.
Our Specialist Training packages are designed to assist workers across a range of sectors to meet the multiple and intersecting needs of people leaving prison.
Our training aims to enhance your practice by:
- Improving knowledge of the prison system and the impacts on people who come in contact with it
- Increase understanding of the key challenges that people may experience when returning to the community after prison
- Building awareness of best practice models in supporting people leaving prison
Our training is delivered by experienced practitioners who have frontline experience in the field, informed by the voices of the people we walk alongside and incorporating their real practice experience.
